Why I Obsess Over Impressions
I am the furthest thing from a celebrity, so it’s pretty strange that I obsess over the impressions that I leave, but when I run for president in 2050, me being ultra aware of what I say and do will surely be a good thing. On the other hand, Trump is doing well and appears to be unaware of absolutely anything he says.
Right now, you are probably thinking, why did I even click this post? He obviously obsesses over his impressions because he is a narcissist that is obsessed with himself. Wrong, but I can see/understand why you would think that because, let’s be honest, why else would I obsess over my impressions? The answer is simple: impressions are literally my job.
I work with companies daily on their marketing and design, along with working on my own companies, OneNine & 15DollarShirts.com. I preach that if you don’t leave impressions, then, soon, you will not matter. If I want to have a job, I have to focus constantly on impressions, and I firmly believe that if you want to do big things, you have to obsess over impressions too.
